Stellar Tactics Fully Launching March 30

Maverick Games announced that its turn-based sci-fi RPG Stellar Tactics will fully release on March 30, 2026. The game has spent nearly a decade in Early Access on Steam and GOG.com having originally released on September 2016. A new pre-launch trailer for the game can be viewed below.

Stellar Tactics puts players in the role of a genetically engineered mercenary who is woken up from their escape pod after many years in cryostasis. Players can explore over a hundred thousand star systems while choosing whether to help search for a cure for a disease called the Phage, which is mutating and consuming worlds, or join up with one of the galactic powers fighting each other for control. The game features turn-based ground combat with classless character progression, upgradable gear, customisable spaceships, ship boarding and capture, asteroid mining, a commodity trading market, and more.
