Elminage Original: Priestess of Darkness and The Ring of the Gods Coming to Switch in Japan

Mebius and OperaHouse have announced a Nintendo Switch release for Starfish SD’s dungeon-crawler Elminage Original: Priestess of Darkness and The Ring of the Gods. The game will be released physically and digitally on April 23, 2026. Mebius stated that it plans to release additional party face graphic options as DLC alongside the default options.

Elminage Original: Priestess of Darkness and The Ring of the Gods is a remake of the first Elminage title, which originally launched for PlayStation 2 in 2008. The remake released for PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2011 before later being released in North America and Europe, while a Nintendo 3DS version was also released. The game is currently available on PC via Steam, where it released in 2017. Players create a party of adventurers from sixteen classes and nine races, with which they explore a labyrinthine dungeon.
