Starfinder: Afterlight Introduces Preach

Epictellers Entertainment announced a new character for its upcoming sci-fi RPG Starfinder: Afterlight. Voiced by Neil Newbon, previously announced as voice director for the game, Preach is a Shirren Mystic devoted to mentoring and protecting the “Golden One”. The Golden One is a prophesied larva miracle of the deity Hylax, who accompanies him on the adventure. He joins as a companion crew member, and how his story unfolds depends on the player’s choices through the game.

Starfinder: Afterlight is set in Paizo’s Starfinder tabletop RPG universe and is being developed for PC. The game features turn-based combat based on the rules of Starfinder Second Edition. It lets players assemble and lead a crew of misfits, each with their own stories and moral dilemmas. They venture into the Pact Worlds, discovering cosmic wonders and facing a threat that looms over the entire galaxy, with the game billed as featuring a branching narrative with hundreds of unique paths based on the player’s choices. The game is undergoing a Kickstarter campaign, which is set to run until November 6, 2025, and has easily passed its funding goal.
