Dark Deity 2 Arriving on PS5, Xbox Series X|S Next Week

Publisher indie.io and developer Sword & Axe announced that Dark Deity 2 will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 7, 2025. The game, a follow-up to 2021 title Dark Deity, released on PC and Nintendo Switch earlier this year.

Dark Deity 2 returns to the continent of Verroa, although it is intended to be playable for both newcomers and returning fans. Set twenty-five years after the events of the first game, it sees the rebuilt Verroa facing a new threat from the neighboring expansionist Holy Asverellian Empire. Players take control of a group known as the Eternal Delegation, led by previous protagonist Irving’s descendants, in order to turn the tide of the oncoming war. Like its predecessor, Dark Deity 2 features turn-based tactical combat heavily inspired by the Fire Emblem series.
