Forsaker: DingDing & Blade Launching Next Week

Developer BladeLantern Studios and publisher Infini Fun announced the release date for their upcoming title Forsaker: DingDing & Blade. The game, which combines visual novel and roguelike deckbuilder gameplay, will launch on PC (via Steam) on September 24, 2025. It will be available for $10.99 with a 10% launch discount.

Forsaker: DingDing & Blade takes place in a fantasy world inhabited by humans and Forsakers, which possess human appearances but instinctively cannibalise their own kind. It follows the intertwined stories of different characters that are parts of an overarching narrative. The turn-based combat sees players fighting enemies with cards that have offense, defense, and support effects. Each run has randomly generated elements such as routes, events, and enemies. The game features a lazy mode that lets players skip battles and experience the game as a pure visual novel.
