by · Published · Updated

Publisher Don’t Nod announced the release date for Tiny Bull Studios’s action RPG The Lonesome Guild. The title will launch on October 23, 2025, for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The announcement came with a new story trailer that sees the main characters coming together to face their foes.

The Lonesome Guild puts players in the role of Ghost, a spirit in a world that is being consumed by loneliness. Ghost gathers a party of six misfits, attempting to stop the creeping mists that are spreading and corrupting the world. Players are able to switch seamlessly between characters in combat and exploration. Meanwhile, the game also includes puzzle-solving elements as well as allowing players to forge bonds between the characters that lead to both powerful combos and heartwarming events.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
