Project Thea Gets New Trailer, Demo Releasing Next Week

Developer MuHa Games released a new trailer for its card-based strategy-survival RPG Project Thea. The game is the third title in its Slavic mythology-inspired series, following on from Thea: The Awakening and Thea 2: The Shattering. The minute-long video comes ahead of a demo for the game, which will be available for PC via Steam on August 20, 2025.

Project Thea is set in a retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic world built on Slavic folklore including takes on Baba Yaga and the Czort. Players control a custom character looking to rebuild their colony, which involves recruiting NPCs for their party, expanding the settlement, and dealing with the town council. The game features turn-based combat and non-combat skill checks that make use of the party’s card deck. It will include single player and two player co-op modes.
