Black Desert Native PS5, Xbox Series X|S Verisons Launching This Week

Pearl Abyss announced that native PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of open-world action MMORPG Black Desert will release on June 26, 2025. The versions will be available as an update for those playing on the respective PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, with player progress and history preserved. The company also announced that a new major content update will release on July 10, 2025. The update will add the new Deadeye class as well as the new region of Ulukita.

Black Desert was originally released for PC in Korea in 2015, before coming to North America and Europe in March 2016. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were released in 2019. The game is free-to-play in Korea, Japan, and Russia, while in other regions, the game is buy-to-play.
