Crescent Tower Announced

Publisher AMATA Games and developer Curry Croquette announced Crescent Tower. The title is billed as an 8-bit dungeon crawler RPG taking inspiration from the RPGs released on Nintendo Entertainment System. It is set to release in 2025 for PC via Steam.

Crescent Tower takes place in a fantasy world, where the city of Mayirdoam sees the Crescent Tower appearing every fifty years. The player is tasked with exploring the tower, whose top floor is rumored to house a wish-fulfilling jewel and a potion granting immortality.

The game features a top-down perspective and turn-based combat. Players create their own group of adventurers, with three races and nine classes to choose from. Player characters can grow stronger by repeatedly changing classes and inheriting different skills. As they explore, players map the floors of the Crescent Tower that are filled with enemies, traps, and mysteries.
