Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Skytree Village Coming to Switch

Natsume announced that it is releasing Nintendo 3DS farming sims Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village on Nintendo Switch. The games will be released as a “Cozy Bundle” both digitally and physically in summer 2025, with Numskull Games publishing the bundle in Europe. The release will include all previous DLC for both games.

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley originally released in 2014. The game sees players controlling a male or female character who gets caught in an unexpected snowstorm. Encountering a Harvest Sprite, they learn that all of the seasons except for winter have vanished. Players are tasked with restoring the seasons by using their farming skills as well as gaining the help of the villagers, the Harvest Sprites, the Harvest Goddess, and the King of the Underworld.

Harvest Moon: Skytree Village first released in 2016. It takes players to a land known as the Oasis of the Harvest Goddess, which was previously lush but became arid as the power of the Harvest Goddess started to wane. Players control a male or female farmer tasked with reviving the seven Skytrees to restore the Harvest Goddess’s power and the land to its former health. Both games allow players to find a romantic partner and start their own family, as well as plant different crops and raise various animals.
