Black Myth: Wukong Showcases Its Fantasy World

Developer and publisher Game Science released a new trailer for its upcoming action RPG Black Myth: Wukong. The five-minute video, viewable below, showcases snippets of gameplay and cinematics.

Black Myth: Wukong is based on the novel Journey to the West, where players take on the role of Sun Wukong as they explore the realms and landscapes of ancient Chinese mythology while meeting familiar characters from the novel. Along with being able to use his staff to perform melee strikes, the protagonist can also use spells, magic vessels, and transformations. Players can seamlessly combine weapons, spells, abilities, and equipment to overcome powerful adversaries.

Black Myth: Wukong is set to release on August 20, 2024, on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5, with the Xbox Series X|S version launching later this year. It will be available digitally in Standard and Deluxe Editions, which are respectively priced at $59.99 and $69.99. Both editions are currently available to pre-orders via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation Store.
