Symbol of Sacrifice Demo Available

Developer and publisher Umbrella Labs released a demo for its visual novel RPG Symbol of Sacrifice. The demo is currently available on Steam and allows players to go through the first story arc of the game.

Symbol of Sacrifice is set on planet Sonir, where two civilizations are at odds for their survival. The story follows three young siblings, whose village of Alezia suffered a disaster that isn’t of natural origin. In their quest to repair the wrong done to their family and homeland, they must make a painful choice, which results in three different storylines with exclusive encounters, locations, battles, endings, and more.

The game features 2D graphics and hand-drawn sprites. The battles are turn-based and billed as puzzles with many solutions, where there are no stats and levels. Symbol of Sacrifice is being developed for PC, with a release date that has yet to be determined.
