Serial World Announced

Independent developer SerialProject announced its deckbuilding RPG Serial World. The title follows a young boy named Milo in his efforts to solve the mysteries of his town by entering a mysterious world, where he can use the power of strange creatures known as Anima. The game is billed as a “comedic yet serious RPG” featuring quirky characters.

Players engage in turn-based battles where they can control up to three Anima, each with its own skills and personality. Once certain conditions are met, an Anima can evolve. Serial World is currently on development for PC (via Steam), with its release planned for 2025.
