Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Showcases Its Gameplay

Developer A44 Games and publisher Kepler Interactive released a new video for the upcoming action RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. The twenty-minute-long video shows gameplay as protagonist Norn is fighting enemies to get to the antagonistic Dukmar. The areas shown in the footage are places that players will have to visit later in the game, which may reveal minor or major story developments.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is set in a world where the Door to the Afterlife has opened, allowing an old god’s undead army to escape. As humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction, a coalition army forms to take back the world using gunpowder and magic. The game sees protagonist Nor and her mystical companion Enki travelling across deserts, ruins, and the City of Dawn, to gather a team of explosive and weapon experts for the final siege.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is set to launch on July 18, 2024, for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders presently available. The game is currently discounted by 10% on Steam for those pre-ordering it before July 25, 2024.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
