Ballad of Antara Announced

As part of the latest PlayStation State of Play, Infold Games and TipsWorks Studio announced their free-to-play action RPG Ballad of Antara. The game is set in a fantasy world in which two realities coexist: one is habited by common people and another, called Para, is home to much stranger beings. There are persons granted with the ability to travel between these two realities who are called emissaries. Players are tasked with finding and rallying these emissaries as well as uncovering the truth behind the duality of the world.

Ballad of Antara features many playable characters, each with their own class, playstyle, and background. Players can experience the game’s narrative solo or in co-op multiplayer supporting up to three players. Although the title is planned to launch on multiple platforms in 2025, only the PlayStation 5 version has been confirmed so far.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
