WitchSpring R Hard Mode, New Game+ Planned for February

Kiwiwalks announced that it is planning to release a new update for WitchSpring R. The update is planned to release for PC in February 2024 and will include multiple new features. Headlines include new Hard and Very Hard difficulty modes, a New Game+ feature, and additional adjustments.

In addition, Kiwiwalks announced that its publishing agreement with Pixmain has ended and that future service and publishing is being handled internally by Kiwiwalks. The developer also revealed that its planned Nintendo Switch port will be joined by additional, unspecified console platforms, and that a physical release is also being planned.

WitchSpring R is a remake of the first game in the WitchSpring series, which was released for iOS and Android. The game follows Pieberry, a young witch living alone in a forest, and features exploration and crafting-focused gameplay with turn-based combat. It released for PC via Steam in September 2023.
