RPGamer Best of 2023 Editor’s Choice Awards!

2023 was a curious year for the video game industry. It would be fantastic if we could solely focus on what an amazing year it was for releases, particularly RPGs. The sheer number of top-drawer titles on display is staggering. However, the landmark year has been blemished by certain elements of the industry taking its workers and creators for granted, when they are the ones responsible for bringing us so much entertainment and so many memorable experiences.

That said, our Editor’s Choice Awards are one of our opportunities to celebrate all of those responsible for creating the experiences that we share in our small corner of the internet. Be it in the artistic, technical, performance, testing, community, or any other side of things, we’d like to pass on our thanks to those who produced the amazing games from last year. As is site tradition, the RPGamer staff has taken January to consider the huge selection of titles that came out during the previous year to determine our Best of 2023 Awards. Please enjoy and, as always, we invite our readers to let us know your highlights.
