Loop8: Summer of Gods Gets Locale Trailer, Designer Interview

Marvelous released a new location based trailer for upcoming title Loop8: Summer of Gods. The video shows a variety of locations in the game’s coastal village of Ashihara, backed with music from the soundtrack composed by Noriyuki Iwadare. In addition, Marvelous posted an interview with designer and scenario writer Yuri Shibamura. The interview covers his inspirations for the setting as well as how it is brought to life.

Loop8: Summer of Gods sees Nini and his classmates attempting to defeat demonic creatures called Kegai. Nini’s special “Demon Sight” ability allows him to reset the world, letting him and his allies relive their summer until they manage to defeat the Kegai or are completely defeated. The game is set to release in Japan on June 1, 2023, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with its North American and European console and worldwide PC releases following on June 6, 2023.
