For a Vast Future Launching in November
Retreaux Games announced that its retro-styled RPG For a Vast Future will launch on November 1, 2022. The game will be available for PC via Steam.
For a Vast Future is set in the war-torn world of Seralia, where decades of fighting have finally come to an end, leaving the survivors to try and pick up the pieces. The game follows teenager Chel as she goes on a lengthy trip to find the secrets of the previous generation, finding both allies and foes.
Combat uses a fast-paced, active-time battle system with players able to choose their characters’ stat upgrades and weapon proficiencies as well as make use of crafting and ammo systems. The game is expected to take most players around six-to-eight hours to complete and features a selection of retro-themed colour palettes that players can swap between.
