Sengoku Dynasty Gets New Dev Diary, Medieval Dynasty Heading to Consoles

Developer Superkami and publisher Toplitz Productions released a new developer diary video for Sengoku Dynasty. The three-minute video takes a look at settlement creation in the simulation RPG, where players control a peasant who rises up in feudal Japan, aiming to secure their legacy.

Sengoku Dynasty features an open-world with multiple biomes, where players can build up their villages into thriving towns or cities, helping to build up and manage their communities as well as doing what they can to meet their needs. Players can take on the role of leader, craftsman, warrior, or spiritual master and start their own family. Sengoku Dynasty is set to launch for PC in Q1 2023 and will include both single-player and online co-op multiplayer for up to four players, as well as sandbox and story campaign modes.

In addition, Toplitz Productions announced that Sengoku Dynasty’s predecessor, Medieval Dynasty, is heading to consoles. The game, which launched for PC in 2021 and features a similar premise and gameplay but is developed by Render Cube, will release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 6, 2022.
