Alterium Shift Gets Gameplay Trailer and Publisher, New Demo Coming in Q3

Developer Drattzy Games released a new trailer for its upcoming retro JRPG-inspired title Alterium Shift. The video highlights the game’s gameplay, including exploration, turn-based combat, and fishing mini-game. It also reveals a partnership with publisher Gravity Game Arise and the release of a new demo on PC in Q3 2022.

Alterium Shift begins as three heroes-in-training — Pyra, Atlas, and Sage — finish their tutelage under Dolion. The trio undertake a final test before going off on a mission to save the world of Alteria from the Dark Elves. The game is in development for PC, Mac, and unspecified consoles. Its Steam page, which includes access to the game’s current demo, indicates a December 1, 2022, release date though this has not been fully confirmed.
