Moonana Reveals Osteoblasts, New Keylocker Footage

Virgo Versus the Zodiac developer Moonana has announced dungeon-crawler Osteoblasts. The game is primarily developed by the studio’s animator, Anglerman, and features a soundtrack from Virgo Versus the Zodiac composer Electrobear.

The game follows a skeleton who is raised from the dead by a Cat Witch and sets out on a journey to find a purpose. Players choose a class and undertake various quests, with numerous randomised elements. A demo is available to download on Steam, which currently lists a January 12, 2021, release date.

In addition, Moonana released two new videos for its upcoming title Keylocker. A new two-minute trailer featuring new footage and a new song from the game was joined by a three-and-a-half-minute developer diary that gives an overview of the game and its combat.

Keylocker takes place on Saturn, where music has been outlawed for the past 141 years. The game follows B0B0, who is a Doppelganger, twins that are born to be perfect fits for particular societal castes. Combat is turn-based with real-time execution using rhythm-based inputs and players can choose to betray or befriend many of the citizens they come across, with the game featuring multiple endings based on player decisions. Keylocker is being developed for PC, with no announced release window.
