The Elder Scrolls Online Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X

Bethesda has announced that MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. No release window was revealed for either version, but the publisher did confirm that those who own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the relevant console for free.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a buy-to-play MMORPG with microtransactions and an optional subscription that was originally released for PC and Mac in 2014, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following in 2015 and a Google Stadia version released in June 2020. The game currently has four major expansions — Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, and Greymoor — alongside numerous other pieces of DLC content.
