Oceanhorn 2 Receives Major Update

Developer Cornfox & Bros. has announced a major update now available for its action RPG Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm. Dubbed The Golden Edition, the update includes improved game performance, an optional mode increasing the frame rate to 60fps, and additional spoken dialog and music, as well as changes made to some game mechanics and level design. More significantly, The Golden Edition includes two expansions: The Shield of Chronos introduces a new quest and dungeon to the game, as well as a shield that deflects projectiles; while The Criminal Hunt provides a series of quests to hunt down special bandit foes.

Released in 2019 on Apple Arcade, Oceanhorn 2 is actually a prequel to 2015’s Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas. The Golden Edition also expands the new installment’s ending, strengthening its connections to the previous release. Another update has also been promised for later this year.
