Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia Announced

Japanese publisher Happinet announced a new entry in the Brigandine series titled Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia, which will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in the spring of 2020. The announcement trailer can be seen below.

Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is a turn-based strategy RPG where army leaders use monsters as pawns in large scale battles. Players can choose between six countries, assuming the role of the country’s leader, and attempt to conquer the lands of Runersia. There will be over forty maps to wage wars on, with over a hundred and fifty unique units to unleash against rival countries.

Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is being developed by Matrix Software. The game will be showcased more at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Those who visit Happinet’s booth at the show can receive one of six posters featuring the countries’ rulers, while a lanyard will also be distributed for those that follow the official Twitter account for the game.
