Pokémon: Let’s Go Demo Now Available

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have released a free demo version of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!. The demo is available to download from the eShop and lets players explore Viridian Forest partnered with a randomly-selected Pikachu or Eevee. The exact content of the demo may differ to the final game and progress cannot be carried over to the full version.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! were released for Nintendo Switch in November 2018. The games blend a remake of Pokémon Yellow with elements from smartphone title Pokémon Go, with wild Pokémon now visible on screen before being encountered and these encounters taking the form of Pokémon Go’s capture encounters rather than standard Pokémon battles.
