Square Enix Details Kingdom Hearts III Post-Launch Updates

Square Enix has revealed its plan for some updates to Kingdom Hearts III following the game’s release this month. The updates will be released as follows:

  • January 29, 2019 — Update 1.01, which includes several data fixes and adds the Memory Archive option, a digest of the series story so far, to the game’s title menu.
  • January 30, 2019 — Addition of the Epilogue video, which will be viewable to those who have completed the game and seen the ending.
  • January 31, 2019 — Addition of a secret video, which will be viewable to those who have completed the game, seen the ending, and completed other unspecificed criteria.

Originally announced in 2013, Kingdom Hearts III is the third mainline game in the Kingdom Hearts series and once again follows Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they travel to various worlds from Disney franchises. Kingdom Hearts III is set to be released worldwide on January 29, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
