Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (December 13, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital store round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

Three brand new titles hitting this week are tactical sci-fi RPG Steel Shadows, papercraft action RPG Book of Demons, and hoverbike action RPG Desert Child. A couple more ports hit the Switch in the forms of the recent title Omensight and not-so-recent classic Phantasy Star. This week also sees the release of the standalone version of Final Fantasy XV: Comrades and the VR version of Borderlands 2, while Knights of Pen & Paper II comes to the latest generation of consoles.


Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store begins its big Holiday Sale that includes, but is not limited to, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, Bloodborne, Blue Reflection, Children of Zodiarcs, Darkest Dungeon, Deus Ex, Dragon Age, ELEX, Fairy Fencer F, Fall of Light, God Wars, Lords of the Fallen, Mary Skelter, Mass Effect: Andromeda, MeiQ, Minit, Monster Hunter: World, Moonlighter, Neptunia, Omega Quintet, Pillars of Eternity, Pyre, Rainbow Skies, Regalia, Songbringer, Suikoden, Sunless Sea, The Longest 5 Minutes, The Witcher 3, Tokyo Xanadu eX+, Toukiden, Utawarerumono, and Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor.

Meanwhile, the European store’s current set of Games Under €10/£9 include Bastion, Child of Light, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Lords of the Fallen, Mount & Blade: Warband, Necropolis, One More dungeon, Pyre, Shiness, Transistor, and Ys Origin. Meanwhile, the exclusive PS Plus member discounts continue on titles including Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, ClaDun Returns, Demon Gaze II, ELEX, God Wars, Grand Kingdom, Mordheim, Natural Doctrine, Nioh, Skyrim + Fallout 4 bundle, The Council, The Elder Scrolls Online, The Witch and the Hundred Knight, and The Witcher 3.

The Xbox Store new weekly sales include Divinity: Original Sin, Knights of Pen and Paper, Monster Hunter: World, The Technomancer, and Realms of Ancient War.

The American Nintendo eShop deals include ASH, Elemental Knights R, Knights of Pen and Paper, Lord of Magna, Mercenaries Saga Chronicles, Mercenaries Wings, Moonfall: Ultimate, Return to PopoloCrois, Story of Seasons, and Symphony of Eternity. Europe has some Switch sales on Knights of Pen and Paper, Mercenaries Saga Chronicles, Mercenaries Wings, and Moonfall: Ultimate, with any 3DS sales TBC.

The current Steam sales include The Elder Scrolls Online, Titan Quest, Darksiders, Tower of Time, Legends of Eisenwald, and The Long Journey Home. has just begun its big winter sale, featuring deals on Thronebreaker, The Witcher, Sword Legacy: Omen, Dragon Age, Dragon’s Dogma, Pillars of Eternity, Dungeons & Dragons, Divinity, Wasteland, and many more.
