Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (October 11, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital store round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

  • Chasm (Switch)
  • Child of Light (Switch)
  • Chronus Arc (One, PC – Windows 10 only)
  • Disgaea 1 Complete (PS4, Switch)
  • The World Ends with You: Final Remix (Switch)

Switch owners get access to the majority of RPG releases this week. The World Ends With You, Child of Light, and Chasm make their debuts on the system, joined by Disgaea 1 Complete, which also releases on PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, Kemco’s Chronus Arc is out now on Xbox One and Windows 10 devices.

 

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store’s EA Sale continues to offer discounts on Dragon Age: Inquisition and Mass Effect: Andromeda. Meanwhile, Nioh is included in a new Only on PlayStation Sale, with Minit and One More Dungeon also appearing in the full list of deals.

Europe continues the Big Names, Big Discounts sale that includes ELEX, Final Fantasy XIV, Horizon Zero Dawn, Monster Hunter: World, Ni no Kuni II, Nioh, The Witcher 3, Vampyr, and World of Final Fantasy. The current Games Under €15/£13 selection features Portal Knights, Pyre, and The Swords of Ditto.

The Xbox Store has a smaller selection this week, with Child of Light and Letter Quest being the only RPGs of note.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for AeternoBlade, Die for Valhalla, Gurumin 3D, Legna Tactica, and Unepic. European sales are TBC.

Steam‘s current sales include Monster Hunter: World. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Final Fantasy XV, Transistor, and Titan Quest. GOG.com has discounts on ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery), Stonekeep, Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader, and Invictus: In the Shadow of Olympus. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has discounts on the Dark Eye universe (including Blackguards), The Long Journey Home, and Die for Valhalla.
