Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (June 21, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

The Lost Child and Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles are the first post-E3 RPG releases in North America and Europe. Europe also catches up on the PS4 and Vita versions of Kemco’s Antiquia Lost that were released in North America last year. E3 also saw the release of a couple of demos for Octopath Traveler and Shining Resonance Refrain.

 

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store features sales on Lost Dimension, Anima: Gate of Memories, and Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord. Meanwhile, PlayStation’s European store features various different sales. The Games Under £12/€15 sale returns and provides discounts on titles including Dark Souls III, Divinity: Original Sin, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fallout 4, The Technomancer, and Valkyria Chronicles, which are supplemented by a few extra games in the Games Under £4/€5 section. The PlayStation Retro sale includes deals for classic titles on PS4 including Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud, and Wild Arms 3.

The Xbox Store’s sales this week include deals on Diablo III: Eternal Collection, Mount & Blade: Warband, Mordheim (in a bundle with Blood Bowl 2), and RAW – Realms of Ancient War.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for Asdivine Cross, Dragon Ball Fusions, Etrian Odyssey V, Fire Emblem Echoes, Fire Emblem: Warriors, Golf Story, I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear, Monster Hunter Generations, Nights of Azure 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Plague Road, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, and more. Europe has Switch sales for Fire Emblem: Warriors, Golf Story, I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear, Nine Parchments, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with 3DS sales to be confirmed.

The current Steam sales include discounts on Ni no Kuni II, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Darkest Dungeon, Nioh, Crypt of the NecroDancer, and Anima: Gate of Memories. GOG.com has sales for Sacred Gold and Celestian Tales: Old North. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has deals for Lords of the Fallen, the Borderlands series, and Dungeon Rushers.
