The Mage’s Tale Hits Vive This Week

inXile Entertainment’s VR RPG The Mage’s Tale, originally released in 2017 for Oculus Rift, releases this week — March 23, 2018 — for HTC Vive, priced at $29.99. In addition, the company announced that a PlayStation VR version of the game, which is set in the same world as its Bard’s Tale series, is currently in development.

The Mage’s Tale is set between the events of The Bard’s Tale III and The Bard’s Tale IV. The game is a first-person dungeon crawler, with players controlling an apprentice mage who aims to rescue their master, Mage Alguin, from the corrupt wizard Gaufroi.
