Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (Feb. 1, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

This week features a couple of Final Fantasy releases as the Dissidia fighting spin-off series gets a new entry in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, and Final Fantasy XII‘s remaster hits PC. In addition, roguelike dungeon crawler Tangledeep arrives for PC, Mac, and Linux on Steam, while rhythm-roguelike Crypt of the NecroDancer hits Switch. There is also a demo for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology on Nintendo 3DS.

Sales and Discounts

RPGamer’s Game of the Year Persona 5 is the deal of the week for PlayStation owners in Europe, while the Games Under €20/£16 sale continues for another week. In North America, a smaller selection of sales includes Fallout 4 (and its various expansions), Akiba’s Beat, and Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity.

On the Xbox side of things, this week’s RPG sales for Gold members are Fallout 4 (including its various expansions) The Technomancer, and Mordheim: City of the Damned.

For Nintendo, in North America the current sales include Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Plague Road, and Elminage Original. In Europe, Heroes of the Monkey Tavern and The Count Lucanor are on sale on Switch.

The current batch of Steam sales includes significant discounts on Dragon Age: Origins and the Darksiders remasters. Those who participated in our recent giveaway should be aware that currently has a big JRPG sale with a heavy Falcom-bent going on, as well as a few other titles such as Cosmic Star Heroine and Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
