After over two years since the cancellation of its previous project, Spearhead Games is returning with Ever After Again: A Stories Adventure. The follow-up to 2016 action RPG Stories: The Path of Destinies is in development for PC and consoles, with a demo out now.
Spearhead Games’ Stories: The Path of Destinies is coming to Xbox One. The game, which is currently out on PS4 and PC, will be releasing on the console later this month.
Narrative branching RPGs, though fascinating in structure, often flop because the larger story isn’t interesting to begin with. Spearhead Games’ recent effort Stories: Path of Destinies is a great example of a game that can tell a branching narrative, while also making the player feel as though are immersed in the larger story being told.
