Pokémon Legends: Z-A & Mega Dimension DLC Physical Bundle Announced

The Pokémon Company announced that it will be releasing a physical bundle containing the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and its Mega Dimension DLC expansion. The bundle will release on October 29, 2026, and include both the game and the DLC on a single game card. The card will also be playable on the Nintendo Switch system, though features specific to the Switch 2 version will not be available. Those who purchase the bundle will also receive a serial code for a gift of 100 Ultra Balls via Mystery Gift.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A takes place in Lumiose City, which originally appeared in Pokémon X and Y, as it undergoes an urban redevelopment plan intended to “shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon”. It changes up the series’ traditional turn-based combat with a new real-time combat where trainers and Pokémon move around in real-time and unleash moves when commanded. The Mega Dimension DLC sees players investigate new spatial distortions forming in the city. Guided by donut chef Ansha and her companion Hoopa, players explore a mysterious dimension known as Hyperspace Lumiose. This dimension includes newly discovered Mega-Evolved Pokémon and other Pokémon not normally found in the city.
