Superstar Strategy Coming to Switch This Month

Talberon Games announced that its retro-inspired turn-based tactical RPG Superstar Strategy is releasing on Nintendo Switch. The game, which released on PC and Linux via Steam last year, will arrive on the console on September 24, 2026. It is priced at $19.99, with pre-purchases available now.

Superstar Strategy features a story campaign following a mercenary company in a quest for vengeance that turns into a fight for survival impacting the entire realm. Its tactical combat system makes use of unique unit abilities and gives players varied objectives to achieved victory, including capturing strongholds, delivering cargo, stealing resources, and successfully escaping. Terrain plays an important part in battle, with players able to hold defensive positions, close drawbridges, and potentially launch over walls in outflanking manouevres. It also includes local co-op and versus missions.
