Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut Gets More English Dub Teasers

Sega released new teaser videos for the new English dub included in Ryū ga Gotoku Studio’s upcoming Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut. The new videos features short clips of the following characters in game: Akira Nishikiyama (Kaiji Tang), Makoto Makimura (Risa Mei), Tetsu Tachibana (Howard Wang), Daisaku Kuze (Keston John), Hiroki Awano (Eliah Mountjoy), and Keiji Shibusawa (Jon Ohye).

Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the long-running Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. The game is set in 1988 and follows younger versions of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima as they are caught in a turf war between warring yakuza clans. The game was initially released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2015, before coming to PlayStation 4 in both North America and Europe in January 2017. A PC version released in 2018, with an Xbox One release following in 2020. Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut will release as a Nintendo Switch 2 launch title on June 5, 2025.
