Flint: Treasure of Oblivion Shows Card and Dice Mechanics
Microids and Savage Level released a new trailer for tactical RPG Flint: Treasure of Oblivion. The minute-long video takes a look at the card and dice mechanics used by the game’s combat system. Cards allow players to apply effects such as increasing crew effectiveness, hindering enemies, or retrying actions, while dice are used when performing actions to determine the outcome.
Flint: Treasure of Oblivion is set during the golden age of piracy, incorporating historical language, costumes, and weapons. It follows Captain Flint, his second-in-command Billy Bones, and their crew on their search for a legendary treasure, taking them from the French city of Saint-Malo to Central America. The game features comic book-style narration, with tactical turn-based combat where players can make use of their crew members’ unique abilities. Flint: Treasure of Oblivion is currently set to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 17, 2024.
