Flint: Treasure of Oblivion Shows Its Gameplay

Publisher Microids and developer Savage Level released a new trailer for tactical RPG Flint: Treasure of Oblivion. The minute-long video, viewable below, shows snippets of gameplay with a reminder that the title is planned to release in Q4 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion is set during the golden age of piracy, incorporating historical language, costumes, and weapons. It follows Captain Flint, his second-in-command Billy Bones, and their crew on their search for a legendary treasure, taking them from the French city of Saint-Malo to Central America. The game features comic book-style narration, with tactical turn-based combat where players can make use of their crew members’ unique abilities.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as more as gameplay. Now, I am, writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
