Dragon Age: The Veilguard Trailer Reveals Its Companions

EA and BioWare released a new cinematic trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The video introduces the seven companions who will join the protagonist — known as Rook — in the game: Harding the Scout, Neve the Detective, Lucanis the Mage Killer, Bellara the Veil Jumper, Emmrich the Necromancer, Darvin the Warden, and Taash the Dragon Hunter. It also reveals a planned fall 2024 release window, while the first gameplay reveal is planned for June 11, 2024, at 8am PST on the Dragon Age YouTube channel.

Previously announced as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be a single-player title and, like previous titles in the series, will feature its own protagonist. Although no longer mentioned in the game’s title, the character known as the Dread Wolf, who originally appeared in Dragon Age: Inquisition, will play an important role.
