Stellar Blade Releasing in April

Sony and Shift Up revealed that action RPG Stellar Blade will release for PlayStation 5 on April 26, 2024. The game will be available to pre-order from February 7, 2024, including in a Digital Deluxe Edition that features a variety of in-game bonuses. The release date came with a new six-minute trailer that introduces the game’s setting and story, as well as a variety of gameplay elements.

Stellar Blade sees protagonist Eve and her allies from the 7th Airborne Squad from humanity’s offworld refuge attempting to reclaim Earth from the monstrous Naytiba. Upon landing, Eve encounters an Earth native called Adam as well as 5th Airborne Squad member Lily, who offer their support as Eve comes to Xion, the last remaining city on Earth. Eve is able to build relationships with citizens of Xion and help them out if players choose to. The action combat focuses on deflecting and evading attacks with combos and special skills making use of precise timing.
