Tactical RPG Rain Tactics Announced
Developer Ervya Studios has announced Rain Tactics. The cyberpunk tactical RPG utilises roguelike elements and is in development for PC. The game does not yet have a release window, but is available to wishlist on Steam.
Rain Tactics puts players in the role of Winter, an invincible god attempting to die. In order to fulfill this goal, he needs to reach the Gate of Oblivion before it is too late. However, the gate — located at the top of the tower-city of Shavanath — is guarded by minions of the Lady of the Dark, who wishes to deny him his request. The game features a multi-class job system, with procedural generation for each run and the ability for Winter to unleash his powers during battle, with accompanying consequences.
