Action Roguelite Ravenbound Announced
Developer Systemic Reaction announced Ravenbound. The game is a challenging open-world action roguelite in development for PC. The game does not yet have a release window, but is available to wishlist on Steam.
Ravenbound puts players in control of the Vessel for a weapon called the Raven. The Raven has been forged by the gods to rid the land of darkness. However, this task will take many lifetimes to accomplish and so the gods allow each Vessel to pass down their wisdom to the next.
The game features a Scandinavian-inspired fantasy world in which players can explore on foot or by air. Players engage in close ranged combat against enemies including trolls, huldras, and draugrs as the world changes across generations. A deck-building feature allows players to obtain more powerful equipment with each new Vessel.
