The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel Pushed to Next Year

Nintendo announced that its upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now planned to release for Nintendo Switch in spring 2023. The delay was announced in a video message from series producer Eiji Aonuma.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U in 2017. There are very few details about the sequel, but Eiji Aonuma previously stated that it will extend into the skies above Hyrule.
