Expectations are always high when a really good game gets a sequel. In the case of the Deus Ex series those expectations were not met, and it stayed dormant for years. This was probably deserved. Boing boing, go the bodies!

The military-industrial complex is no better in the future, unless having it be a worldwide instead of US organization is some kind of improvement. Striking a blow against it, however, very worth doing. ED-209 looks dangerous. Probably because it is.
