Do be you think there is anything behind the fan theory that Mother 3 hasn’t been officially localized because of the fan translation? It’s quite good, and it is likely that there would have to be at least a few changes that could upset fans (changing the name of the Magypsies, for instance). Nintendo isn’t generally concerned with backlash from localization changes, so maybe this idea doesn’t hold much water.
