Link’s Awakening Remake Announced for Switch
A remake of 1993’s classic Game Boy action adventure The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has been announced for Nintendo Switch. The reveal was the final game to be shown in the recent Nintendo Direct presentation and included an animated reimagining of the original’s opening cutscene before segueing into some footage of the game.
The remake’s gameplay appears to be retaining the originals’ top-down perspective but with a switch to stylized 3D graphics. The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is due for release at some point this year.
