Capcom, Niantic Announce Monster Hunter Now

Monster Hunter developer Capcom and Pokémon Go developer Niantic have announced Monster Hunter Now. The game is a spin-off to the Monster Hunter series for iOS and Android that sees players finding monsters in locations in the real world. The game is planned to release in September 2023.

Closed beta sign-ups are available now through its official website. The closed beta will begin on April 25, 2023, for around 10,000 selected participants. Players are joined by a companion Palico and can use an item called the Paintball, which lets them mark any monster to hunt at a later point alone or with an ally.
