Tales of Arise Receives Release Date
Bandai Namco has announced the release date for Tales of Arise, the newest entry in the long-running Tales series. The game will be released worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 10, 2021. The Japanese console release will be a day earlier on September 9, 2021.
Tales of Arise is now available for pre-order physically and digitally. Pre-orders will receive new costume and outfit accessories for Alphen and Shionne, as well as new cooking recipes and ingredients. On digital platforms, Tales of Arise will have Deluxe and Ultimate Editions available for purchase as well. The Deluxe Edition will include the following items:
- Premium Item Pack containing gold, cooking items, and Boosts.
- Premium Costume Pack including eight full costumes and six accessories.
- Premium Travel Pack unlocking better cooking and crafting abilities as well as discounts in shops.
The Ultimate Edition will include the content from the Deluxe Edition as well as new costumes including collaborations with other Bandai Namco games.
A physical Collector’s Edition will include an exclusive figurine, a SteelBook case, an art book, and a soundtrack CD (plus digital download). A special Hootle Edition will also be available exclusively in Europe through Bandai Namco’s European store. This edition will include a metal case, an art book, a soundtrack CD (plus digital download), a 15cm Hootle plush along with four accessories, a set of stickers, three art prints, and Hootle costume DLC.
Tales of Arise is set on the twin planets Dahna and Rena. For the last three hundred years, Rena has been in control, however, stories have been masking the truth of the relationship, as Rena pillages Dahna’s natural resources and enslaves its people. Players will take on the roles of Shionne, a Renan on the run from her countrymen, and Alphen, a Dahnan wearing an iron mask, to fight for freedom.
