Pixie Predicament
featured on Aug. 19, 2006 contributed by XeroZohar

I was playing a Dungeons and Dragons, Third Edition game with my usual crew, and at the time was playing at Gnomish Tinkerer who had the ability to create objects that contained the abilities of various Wizard/Sorcerer spells. Other characters included an amazoness fighter, a dancer who always wore bells (don't ask), and a rather spoony stupid bard.

As part of the campaign, the group was in a forest, looking for an army of orcs that had ravaged my character's town as a prelude to something Ominous(tm). But that's beside the point.

Once in the forest, we were accosted by fairies or pixies (I'm just going to say pixies for brevity's sake), who continually fooled us and played annoying tricks on us. After they were finally finished, they asked us what we were doing in their forest. They're very territorial, apparently. We told them, but they seemed unconvinced of our goodness. So I brought out the glowsticks. Yes, my character could create glowsticks (equivalent to the Light spell). After wowing them, they brought out the weed. The group had a nice party, and we woke up in three days.

Which ending is the real one?

After we stopped being groggy, we found that the pixies had taken all our stuff. As such we embarked on a quest to retrieve it, since fighting orcs barehanded is rather suicidal.

After we woke up and worked off the groggyness, we found a bit of parchment with information on the whereabouts of the Orcs. As such, we continued on the main campaign.

After we woke up, and could see straight again, we noticed two of our members were missing. We later came back and found they'd been turned into pixies themselves!
