The Elminage series of first-person dungeon-crawling RPGs has been around in Japan for years and has built up a respectable library of titles, but none of those games have ever been localized for a Western release. That is changing, however, as UFO Interactive has announced that it will be localizing Elminage Original, the PSP remake of the first Elminage for the PS2. The company hasn't yet released many other details, though it appears that this will likely be a PSN-only release.
In Elminage Original, the player is tasked with gathering a party of heroes to find six rings that used to protect the world with divine power but have been scattered by an evil priestess. The game will feature an extensive amount of customization with sixteen classes and twelve races to choose from. Players will also be able to import customized character portraits into the game.
